This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Sail Planner’s website and our app for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.

Information We Collect

Sail Planner does not collect any information from its users. No account is required for use, and no usage data is sent to servers affiliated with Sail Planner. All of the data you create is stored on your device or, if desired, in Apple's iCloud service. Your data is yours.

Sail Planner does have access through Apple’s App Analytics platform to usage statistics and crash reporting as provided as a function through the Apple App Store. This data is provided anonymously and in aggregate and can not be traced back to any of our users in any way.

Technical Basis

Sail Planner does not own and is not affiliated with any third party servers. This makes it impossible for us to store any of your data where we may have access to it.

iCloud

Sail Planner stores some of the data you provide in Apple’s iCloud service.

Ads and Analytics

Sail Planner does not collect any in-app statistics or data. We do not use ads and we do not target ads to specific users based on their actions within Sail Planner or on Sail Planner’s website.

Information Usage

The data collected from Apple’s App Analytics platform is used to improve our website, apps, and customer support.

We do not share usage statistics with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Sail Planner’s functionality. We may share anonymous, aggregate usage statistics with outside parties. This data is not traceable to our individual users.

In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, usage statistics may be among the transferred assets.

Security

As Sail Planner does not store the personal information of its users, we are not responsible for any security breaches of your device or Apple’s iCloud service that may give unauthorized outside parties access to your data.

As the data created in Sail Planner is solely stored on user devices or iCloud accounts, you may access, delete, or change information at any time.
